I'm absolutely thrilled to share more about one of my favorite Colorado wedding venues! Juniper Mountain House is this incredibly dreamy boutique hotel nestled on 10 wooded acres overlooking the foothills of Evergreen, Colorado. Having photographed several weddings here, I can tell you the light is MAGICAL and every corner offers stunning photo opportunities! The owners, Alea & Ashley LaRocque, are the sweetest couple who actually got married there themselves in 2020 - which explains why they've thought of everything!
The Space
The Property - 10 gorgeous acres with private hiking trails, TWO lounges, a bar area, upper AND lower decks, an outdoor fire pit, and even a hot tub for after-wedding relaxation!
The Rooms - 5 intimate guest rooms (named after trees - how cute!), each with private bathrooms, plush robes, and all the comfy amenities you'd expect
COMING SOON - They're building TREEHOUSES! Eight luxury treehouses expected to start opening summer 2025!

The Meadow - This magical clearing among the pines is EVERYTHING! It has custom wooden benches, a ceremony platform, rustic wedding arch, and dreamy string lights. I've captured some of my all-time favorite ceremony photos here!
Mountain View Deck - Seats up to 50 with those stunning mountain views everyone wants! Farm tables and fruitwood chairs give that perfect rustic-but-polished vibe
Treelined Driveway - Perfect for cocktail hour and dancing! The string lights overhead create the most romantic glow at sunset
Bar & Lounge - Opens to the Mountain View Deck for that perfect indoor/outdoor flow that creates such dynamic reception photos!

Couple's Elopement - $995 for just the two of you! Includes ceremony site choice and one-night stay
The Meadow Ceremony - $2,500 for up to 50 guests, ceremony only with day-of coordinator and one-night stay for the couple
Micro Wedding - $10,000 for up to 25 guests with ceremony, reception, and exclusive lodge buyout
Juniper Wedding - $15,000 for 26-50 guests with ceremony, reception, and exclusive lodge buyout

Event management by McArthur Weddings & Events is REQUIRED for Micro and Juniper packages (starts at $3,200)
Bar packages range from $8-20/person/hour (Premium Wine & Beer up to Top-Shelf Full Bar)
Add-ons include acoustic wedding musician ($550+) and treehouse rentals when completed ($800+)

Important FAQs
Located in residential area - no DJs or drum sets, but live bands with approval
No kitchen for caterer use - must be fully prepared food or standalone setup
Limited parking (13 cars max for larger packages)
No guest staying before the wedding night, but additional nights after are possible
Pets welcome in designated rooms with $25 fee per pet
All alcohol must be purchased through Juniper (no BYOB)
