After grad school, several passions were combined (creativity, modeling, a knack for strangers + relationship psychology) and CliftonMarie Photography was born.
If you’re looking for a candid photographer who isn’t afraid to be ridiculously goofy to get the best reactions from your family, I am your gal. I’m that person who will ask your grandmother to spit out her gum into my hand before she walks down the aisle. I will help you create your wedding day timeline so you can spend more time partying with your guests. I’ll sew you back into your dress and fix your updo if necessary.

Why is wedding photography my passion?
Wedding photography combines several interests and skills, and then rolls them into a fast-paced, energetic package to fill my cup!
I love people and heightened emotions. Weddings are all about emotional moments and outward expressions of love, so it’s like a year’s worth of emotion shoved into one beautiful day. I get to be a part of that energy and turn it into art! Give me all the mushy stuff!
Quickly assessing people’s personalities and anticipating their needs is my super power. You need scissors? Were you so busy you forgot to drink water? I’ll remind your bridal party to smile as they walk down the aisle. If someone isn’t smiling naturally, I’ll figure out a way to make them giggle. I’ll hold Grandma’s purse and remind your uncle to take off his sun glasses during family photos. Are you two introverts and need a break? No idea how to cut a wedding cake? You get the idea. Helping humans is my jam.
Working under pressure with time constraints is when I thrive. I enjoy problem-solving under a spotlight and I am fueled by adrenaline. Before diving into the world of wedding photography, I was a full-time classical musician and music teacher. Performing and teaching others to perform was my job. As your wedding photographer I will work under pressure to get everything done on your wedding timeline so you have plenty of time with your guests. I will have no problem being a dork to make your family laugh. I also have the pleasure of teaching couples how to look natural and unposed in their wedding photos. Candid is my jam.
